Put your feet up today! Rest is an underrated prevention and cure for dis-ease.

? Trusting and listening to your body, giving it the rest it needs to heal itself is something we have been encouraged away from in our society.

? Particularly when many more of us are working from home, it can be difficult to give yourself permission to switch off and rest deeply enough to give your body the time in which to heal and balance itself.

? In my childhood, Sundays used to be a day when one didn’t expect to get anything done and it was traditionally designated as a day of rest.

? Could you show your body some trust and love and reinstate a day, or at least some time in your week, as compete switch off time.

? Not doing, just being, is ‘doing’ something hugely valuable for your health and wellbeing, especially in challenging times.
