? Freezing bread turns the starch in your loaf into ‘resistant starch’ which is great for gut health.
? Gain similar benefits by cooking your pasta dish the day before you wish to eat it. Letting the pasta go completely cold (for at least 6hours) also turns the starch to gut friendly resistant starch. It’s fine to reheat your pasta dish after it’s cooled.
