??Using Salt Lamps to Improve your Sleep??Many more of us are reporting difficulties sleeping due to increased stress levels during the pandemic.  Over the next few days we will be giving a few hard earned tips to help you improve your sleep including a night time meditation, dietary tips and evening yoga practices.

?Salt lamps are a great way to enhance your home environment and aid good sleep patterns.

?Home electrical equipment including TV’s, computers & electric hobs all emit positive ions.  Over exposure to positive ions has a negative effect on our wellbeing and can contribute to poor sleep patterns through a reduction in blood and oxygen supply to the brain.

?Salt lamps balance out the positive ions given off by common household equipment by emitting negative ions, they help to increase blood and oxygen to the brain and balance our mood by increasing serotonin levels. The light given off by them is also very soothing.  I turn mine on during the early evening in preparation for sleep.
